This trek
starts in Entebbe and then heads up to Murchison Falls along the river Nile.
After a game visit the to the large game parks, we head down to track
the Chimpanzees at Kibale and then head further south for more game
drives. The highlight is tracking the Mountain Gorilla in Rwanda, before
flying home from Kigali. |

Location:
Uganda
and Rwanda are located in East Africa and share borders with
each other. Uganda also shares her borders with Kenya, Sudan,
the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania, while Rwanda
shares her borders with Burundi, the Democratic Republic
of Congo and Tanzania.
Both
countries are famous for the magnificent mountain gorilla and
each year, draw hundreds of tourists to their national parks
and forested areas, to view these magnificent animals which
are fast approaching extinction.
Visa Requirements:
When
entering Uganda or Rwanda, a visa is required for most
Nationals although there are exceptions. A passport
valid for six months beyond the date of entry and
evidence of yellow fever vaccination are also ; required.
Visas are available at Entebbe Airport or may be obtained from
the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda.
As
this is also a Malaria area, it is recommended that you
consult your physician prior to departure, about Malaria
medication.
