where the Gorilla are. Tracking Gorilla in Rwanda is easier than in
Uganda with better photographic opportunities

Permits:
Permits
are limited based on the number of families in the park. There
are four habituated families in Bwindi, with the result that
only 24 permits per day are issued for Gorilla tracking. These
tend to book up up quite quickly so at least three months
advanced booking is required for us us to obtain
permits.
UGANDA
GORILLA TRACKING SAFARI
ITINERARY - GORILLA TRACKING UGANDA.
Day One: Morning arrival at Entebbe airport, meet and greet. Transfer to Kampala for lunch and a short
briefing. After we depart to Mbarara. We will drive through the
Equator, Masaka, and then continue to Mbarara town. Detailed briefing. Dinner
and overnight at Lake View
Hotel.
* Note: If your flight clients arrives the night before, after breakfast we will visit the Kasubi Tombs (Royal Tombs) and the Ugandan Museum in Kampala.
Day Two: After early breakfast we will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP, home of the endangered
mountain gorilla. We will stop on the way to have our packed/picnic lunch.
Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp or Lake Kitandara Safari Camp.
Day Three: After an early morning breakfast, we will be transferred to the national park headquarters for being briefed by the guides before departing for the hike in search for the Great Mountain Gorillas. The excursion in a thick rainforest and the interaction with the mountain ape, gives a wonderful experience in life. The clients will take with them packed lunch. After returning to the
lodge, they will have the rest of the day free for relaxing. Dinner and
overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp or Lake Kitandara Safari Camp.
Day Four: After an early breakfast we will depart to Mbarara. We will pass Ntungamo, and we will stop to have our packed/picnic lunch. Mbarara district is known for the Ankhole cattle (long horns).Dinner and overnight at Lake View Hotel.
Day Five: After breakfast we will depart to Kampala. We will pass Masaka and the Equator before arriving to Uganda’s capital city. After lunch you will be transferred to Entebbe airport for your departure flight.
