Easy walking or traveling along well defined paths or roads, at low altitudes to about 2800m. Not
very strenuous. Includes touring options e.g. Kathmandu
to Pokhara touring. |

A combination
of long days with steep paths and some mountain scrambling. The route
follows reasonable paths through thick vegetation, up hillsides, slippery
shale surfaces. Snow and or ice may be encountered along the route,
there is not need for technical climbing equipment. Ice picks may be
required dependant on time of year. Slight effects of altitude may be felt
above 3200m. Altitude levels up to 4200m. Includes Mt
Meru |

across rocky areas, and slippery shale surfaces. Glaciers and snow
may be encountered, there is not need for technical climbing equipment.
Due to higher levels of altitude, symptoms of altitude sickness may be experienced.
Ice picks may be required dependant on time of year.

mountaineering skills are needed. Extremely high altitudes above 7600m
